Vera Lee McClelland
Vera Lee McClelland, 73, of Carlisle, passed away from ovarian cancer on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Vera was surrounded by her daughters and the deep love they shared for each other.
Vera Lee Mishler was born December 3, 1944 to Russell and Helen (Norris) Mishler. Vera was retired from Diamond Animal Health.
Vera is survived by her four children, Jami Martin of Runnells, Veronica McClelland of Carlisle, Monica McClelland-Soe of Des Moines and Margenia McClelland of Carlisle; and four grandchildren, Isaac Whipple, Jakob Soe, William Martin and Elizabeth Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Charlene Rensch and Nancy Munson, and granddaughters Angela Wright and Emilyne Wright.
In Vera’s memory, the family suggests donations to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
