Pamela Sue Hopwood Keck, 69, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday, February 17 at Living Center West.
A visitation for Pam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, February 24 at New Beginnings Church in Hiawatha. Pam was cremated and her ashes will be added to the family plot in Deep River, Iowa later this summer. Iowa Cremation is in charge of the cremation.
Pam was born March 15, 1948 to Earl and Emily (Price) Hopwood in Rockford, Il. After graduating high school, Pam attended college majoring in art. She was part of a Red Hat group in the Seattle area before moving to Belle Plaine, Iowa in 2016. She was a retired real estate agent. Pam was also a member of several gaming groups in the Cedar Rapids and Coralville areas.
She married for the very first time on October 21, 2017 when she married Doug Keck in Cedar Rapids.
Pam is survived by her husband Doug, stepchildren Jim Keck and friend Alice, Carilyn (Dell) Morse, Tim Keck and John (Colleen) Keck, 12 step-grandchildren and 23 step great grandchildren, brother Ed (Leann) Hopwood and family Evan Schneider, Britta Schneider and Kaley Hopwood along with several nieces, nephews and cousin Jack (Judy) Schlesselman. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make a donation to your local Hospice in Pam's name.
