Norma Grace Thomas, 90, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the Anamosa Care Center following a short illness.
Norma Grace Hughes was born November 10,1927, in Morley, Iowa the daughter of Otho and Jennie (Sams) Hughes. On January 16, 1946, she married Everitt Leroy Thomas in Monticello, Iowa.
She is survived by five children, William (Cindy) Thomas, Sandra(John Dirks) Newhard , Robert Thomas, Edward Thomas and Theresa(Danny) Young; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everitt; two sons Everitt Jr. and Boyd Leslie; two brothers, Ivan and Marvin Hughes; two sisters, Leone and Lucille Hughes; and one grandchild. Amber Thomas Cudahy.
Per her wishes there will be no services. Burial will be at a later date in Green Cemetery, Morley, Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
