Larry Hibbs
Sue, Barb and family, Tom and family... I send my heartfelt condolences. Our parents were friends and I remember visiting your home in Chariton so many times. Larry and I graduated HS together and he has always had a special place in my heart, along with the whole Hibbs family. Such a wonderful family. I am out of state at this time and cannot attend Larry's Celebration of Life, but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers
I have a question. On 11-22-65 I was drafted into the army. Among the group that left the CR bus depot were 4 or 5 married men in our yearly 20's. We went to Ft Bliss for basic and served in the same platoon. One was a Larry Hibbs from Iowas City. I lost track of him but think he went to OCS and served in Vietnam. I never forgot him and since retiring in IC, have asked several Hibbs if they knew of a Larry. None have. Is it possible he is that Larry Hibbs? Thank you!!
Sue, I just talked to Dad and he told me that Larry had passed. I am so sorry to hear that. I am thinking of you.
Barb, Bill and all of your family, my sincere sympathy for your loss. Just know I am thinking of you all at this time. Love, Ann
Sue, I want to express my sympathy to you at Larry's death. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the event on Jan. 19. You and Larry have always been so kind and thoughtful. I always considered your folks to be very special people, and knowing you and Larry has been special also. God's strength and comfort to you at this time. Peace be with you! Pastor Tim Zimmermann
On behalf of our family, we are all very sorry for your loss. Sara and I will be in Cedar Rapids for the memorial.
