Byron F. Webb was born in Earlham, IA to Reuben and Christine (Countryman) Webb. As a small child his family lived in Minnesota, then returned to Iowa and living in the Adel and Earlham area. He graduated from the Earlham Consolidated School in 1945. He started working at Marquette Cement after graduating.
He was united in marriage to Darlene Slater on June of 1948. They celebrated 70 years together this last June. To this union three children were born, Bryce, Kathy and Keith. Byron leaves to celebrate his life, his wife Darlene of Adel, son Bryce (Peggy) Webb of Winterset, daughter Kathy (Mike) McLaughlin of Earlham and son Keith (Tara) Webb of Auburn, KY. Eight grandchildren: Heather, Gregory, Beau, Ky, Bryce Jr., Kelsey, Amber, and Travis. Twelve great-grandchildren: Hannah, Ethan, Paige, Logan, Madison, Klaire, Olivia, Brody, Hayven, Nash, Liam, Logan and one due in January. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death, his parents, sisters: Dorothy Gordon, Fern Davis and brother-in-law Mercer Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday December 18th at the Earlham Community Center from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
