Sherri Ann Wetherell of Stockport, IA passed away on August 8, 2018 in Pleasant Hill, IA after a 2 year battle with cancer.
She was born in Morrison, Ill. On December 5, 1967 to parents Donald and Elaine Ward (Nice). She was raised in the Sparta, WI and Morrison, IL area. Later she lived in the Lockridge, IA and Stockport, IA area.
She married Steve Walker they later divorced. She married Jeff Wetherell on August 8, 2009 near Lockridge, IA. She worked at the Vet. Clinic in Fairfield, Ia. Riverside Plastics in Bonaparte, IA. She enjoyed gardening, sketching, reading, and canning jellies, crocheting many dollies, baby blankets, table cloths, and stuffed animals which she would give to friends, family and fund raisers. She was an accomplished hunter, fisher, and outdoors person.
She is survived by her husband Jeff, children Viki (Jim) Morris of Des Moines, IA, Robert (Megan) Walker of Pleasant Hill, IA, Jessica (Joe) Howard of Mt. Pleasant, IA; 4 grandchildren, Camden Hines, Ana Morris, Joe Howard and Jack Walker; siblings, Donna, Racheal, Mary and Bill, step siblings Eddie, Delana and Lisa; step mother, Julie Ward of Fulton, IL; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents. No funeral is planned. There will be a memorial in Morrison, IL on Sunday Sept. 9th and at a later date locally.
