Kathleen M. “Kathy” Nagel, of Amana formerly of Cedar Rapids died Sunday August 5, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Springs of Life Church in Cedar Rapids. Pastor Lynn Furrow will officiate. Iowa cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband Larry; a daughter Cassandra (John) Stephens of Cedar Rapids; a step-son John Nagel and his former wife Monica of Wasilla, Alaska; and a brother David Wright of Newton, Kansas. She is also survived by one grandson Kennen and two granddaughters Hannah and Holland. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Kimberly Wright.
Kathy was born on September 16, 1956 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Duane Wright and Sandra O’Neal. She graduated from Kennedy High School in 1975 and later married Larry J. Nagel on July 24, 2004 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa
Kathy enjoyed crocheting, crafts, riding her motorcycle, camping, and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends. She will be forever remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her...
