Carl R. Zearley, 84, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Survivors include daughters, Diane Fossum, of Cedar Rapids, Debra(Brian) Reistroffer, of Cedar Rapids, Denise(Joe) Hoffpauir, of Cedar Rapids. Grandchildren, Jaime, Jeremy, Cody, Jonathan, and five great grandchildren. Brother, Lewis(Cindy)Zearley, and many nephews and nieces,
Carl was preceded in death by, his parents, James and Selma Zearley, brother, James Zearley, and sister, Verla Wessel.
Carl Zearley was born March 10, 1934, in Garber, Iowa, to James and Selma Zearley. He graduated from Wilson High School. Carl worked for Wilson Farmstead for 27 years, as an engineer. He was a member of Local 3. Carl enjoyed outdoor sports, farming, and genealogy.
