Ronald R. McGuire, 76, of Olin, died on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home. Per Ron’s request no funeral services will take place. The family will have a private celebration of life.
Ronald Ray McGuire was born on November 5, 1940 to Louis and Viola Korning McGuire in Anamosa, Iowa. He was a graduate of Olin High School. Ron proudly served in the US Army. He worked at Rockwell Collins for 30 years. Ron was united in marriage to Cherry Geiger on March 9, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Cherry McGuire of Tipton; children, Rick (Tiana) McGuire and Mike (Sheila) McGuire; step children, Shelly (Kurt) Encke; Dawn (Paul) Rancourt; and Forrest (Miyako) Den Linden; 2 grandchildren, Amaya McGuire and AJ McGuire; 5 step grandchildren, Neil Segebarth, Kristy Horn, Robert Encke, Pemberley VanderLinden, and Sage Den Linden; and 1 step great grandchild, Kaiden Segebarth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
