Survivors include her husband, Paul and her dogs, Josie and Sadie; siblings, Donna Homewood of Cedar Rapids, Danny Dean of West Liberty, and Virginia Dean of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Charles Dean.
Patti Ann Dean was born November 6, 1953 in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Charles and Helen (Gooden) Dean. She graduated from Iowa City West High School. On December 29, 1995, she married Paul J. Gardner in Patagonia, AZ. Patti worked at Walmart for several years.
