Conrad “Wayne” Ware, 82, of Cedar Falls, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017, at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.
Conrad is survived by his wife, Jeanette, stepchildren Carla (Frank) Jonte, Linda (P.A.) Toms, Dan (Leah) Gutknecht, Lori (Ben) Behnami, daughter; Kristi (David) Schryver, grandchildren Shawna Hanson, Chad (Kristina) Toms, Kelly (Mike) Loveless, Mike Jonte (Amanda Tackett), Madison and Jackson Gutknecht, Leila Behnami (Alex Wiley), Holly (Curtis) Dreesman, Michael (Wendy) Cooper, Mark Cooper-Goss, many great grandchildren, a brother, Jim (Nancy) Ware, nephew Andy (Stephanie) Ware and niece Jill (Greg) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Julie, and a nephew Brad.
Conrad was born June 2, 1935 in Danville, IN to Conard and Irene Ware. He married Jeanette (Cook) Gutknecht on December 8, 1973 in Cedar Falls. He served in the Army and retired from John Deere. He enjoyed golf, fishing, photography and genealogy. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
