Karen Kay Ketchem
Meredith and Anita. I am sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. I probably had not seen Karen since our days riding the bus from Williamson to school in Chariton. She was part of my childhood. Again, let me say how sorry I am. I hope to see Meredith in September at the Williamson reunion. Virginia
Please accept our condolences on the loss of Karen from amongst us for a time while we yet linger here a bit. We had the good fortune of being one of Karen's neighbors for some thirteen years in rural Indianola. Additionally, I had the privilege of serving alongside of her in the 132ND Fighter Wing, Iowa Air National Guard for over twenty years. She was an exemplary airman and more importantly a wonderful person that had a remarkable calmness in her demeanor regardless of the situation at hand. Always, she was kind and patient and ever quick to assist all who sought her out to resolve any payroll issue at the Air Guard, she never left you wondering if a problem was going to be remedied, she took ownership of problem and made it hers to deal with. We'll miss our dear friend until we too meet her on the other side of that thin veil that separates our earth from her paradise. May all of her family and friends rejoice that her pain is no longer and she is among friends and loved ones yet even now, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Karen as a little girl. I am praying for your comfort in this distressing time.
