Ralph William “Bill” Charlton, Jr., 75, passed away March 28, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, IA surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept 10, 1941 in Shreveport, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ellen Jenkins Charlton; brother, Louis Scott (Andra) Charlton; his children: Cathi (Ron) Lenders, Paige (Tim) Burden, and Ralph “Will” Charlton, III; and grandchildren: Rachel Lenders, Morgan, Emilie, and Shelby Burden.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Iris Morrow Charlton and sister in law Mary “Cookie” Charlton.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the Grace Community Church, 2707 Dubuque St. NE, North Liberty, IA 52317. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
