Mable Roszell
Mable Jewell Roszell, 91, of West Liberty, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at The Bird House in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Mable was born June 20, 1926, the daughter of Hiram and Bessie (Colgan) Clark, in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. She was married to Nile C. Roszell on January 11, 1943 in Newport, Kentucky. Together they farmed in Cedar County. He passed away in 2012. Mable enjoyed many hobbies including; cooking, gardening, sewing, and reading.
Survivors include her seven children, Nile Jr. (Karen) Roszell, Kristeen (Ken) Hubler, Rick (Haydee) Roszell, Donna (Ken) Ervin, Sue (Rick) Maurer, Jo (Emanuel) Moreira Da Silva, Lynette Conard; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; great-grandson, Brendan Hubler; parents; and two brothers, James and Douglas.
