Herbert Dorsey

Mary and I send our deepest sympathies for your loss. I came to McKinley in 1967 as a 21 year old teacher and coach. Herb was one of the veterans on the staff I most admired. As a basketball coach, Herb was my mentor and he was a huge influence on my 15 year career as a basketball coach. A fun distraction from coaching and teaching was playing on Herb's Schoolmen's Volleyball League team. What a good time we had and Herb's storytelling and easy-going attitude contributed greatly to that. It was obvious that Her was respected by students and staff alike and of course he was greatly admired for his golf game. our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
