Tenna Jensen Moore
Tenna was a beautiful spiritual sister. She and Don were lovely people with whom to spend time studying the Bible, preaching the good news, or even just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. My favorite thing had to be her accent, though!
Don and Tenna were very special to me. Back in 1991, at the age of 17, I began studying the Bible with them every Saturday. We would start around 1pm after Tenna usually prepared a wonderful lunch for us all. Tenna would make these fantastic Danish open faced sandwiches as she called them. Our studies in the ‘Live Forever’ publication would last for hours. Tenna would then make us dinner and we would either continue studying in the ‘Live Forever’ book or we would move on to the Watchtower study for that week. By the time we would finish it would be well past midnight. They would get out every single JW publication they had in accordance with the Bible and they would answer every single question I ever had. I CHERISH those times and I can say Don and Tenna Moore were the most crucial part of my becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses way back in 1992. I remain as such today and I think of that wonderful couple every day. I loved them like parents and I cannot wait to see them again.
Tenna & Don Moore were one of my favorite couples in the Central Davenport Congregation. I will truly miss their presence and warm, spiritual personalities, however I know Jehovah will not forget them and their work/good deeds in their lifetime. I hope to see them at resurrection in the promised paradise earth. Rest together, you two. Until me meet again. My condolences to the family. Praying for your comfort and strength. Sis.
