Obituary for Alexander C. Ceron

Alexander C. Ceron, 21, of Des Moines passed away on January 18, 2017.  Memorial service information is pending.
 
Survivors include his parents, Susan (Buddy) Vest of Des Moines and Javier (Melissa) Ceron of Linden; his siblings, Zachary (Mariah) Ceron and Maggie (Ramon) Martin all of Des Moines, Mike (Heidi) Sam of Ankeny, Ashley (J.R.) Putney of Linden, and Kaylee Ceron of Des Moines; his grandparents, Nancy and Harold Gordon and Jory and Kevin Thomas all of Des Moines; his close friends, Jason Stofer and Scottie Wasson; 1 niece and 6 nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Isabel Ceron, his grandfather Paul Taylor, and an uncle, David Ceron.
 
Alex was born on April 19, 1995, the beloved son of Javier R. Ceron and Susan M. Vest.  He graduated from Panorama High School in Panora in 2013.  Alex had a great interest in Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, video games, as well as Marvel and DC comics.  He played the guitar and his affinity for music will be remembered from the many times he could be found listening to many genres of music through headphones while dancing his heart away.  Alex will be remembered for his welcoming and accepting nature that he extended to everyone his life touched.  He appreciated being able to share the gift of a good laugh or smile with others.  Alex was great with kids and held a special love for his niece and nephews.  Above all, Alex’s greatest happiness was when he was with his family and friends.  His passing leaves a void, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all that adored him.
