Ruby Alice Waltz was born to Charles Grover Colbert and Sarah Geneva (Hapkins) Colbert on December 8, 1926 in Menlo, Iowa. On June 17, 1943, Ruby married James Edward Waltz in Menlo.
Ruby is survived by her children; daughter Sandy Welch of Des Moines, Daughter Connie Waltz-Zdrazil of River Junction, IA, son James Waltz of Kansas City, MO; brother Charles Colbert of Eldridge, IA; grandchildren David Greedy of Coralville, IA, Sara Greedy of Seattle, WA, Anastasia Hischier of Mission, KS, and James Waltz of Japan; and great- grandchildren Arabella, Miles and Vivian. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Patricia Waltz and siblings Allen, Doyle, Bruce, Donald and Eloise.
