Charles T. Schuler, 82, of Evansdale passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Allen hospital surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at AMVETS Post #49, address, 1934 Irving St., Cedar Falls, IA.
Charles was born on December 30th, 1934 in Oelwein, IA, son of Theodore and Louise (Necker) Schuler.
He was a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army (Sergeant E-5) until he was Honorably Discharged in March of 1961, he was an avid outdoorsman his whole life and retired from John Deere after 37 years of service in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents and "the love of his life", Nancy (Sackett) Schuler.
Left to cherish Charles' memories are his sons Eric (Shannon) Schuler, Charlie (Laura) Johnson, and a daughter Robyn (Jim) Farnsworth, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
