Robert E. Joslin, 80, of Anamosa, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his home with his loving family at his side.

Robert Edward Joslin was born May 2, 1937 in Anamosa, Iowa, the son of Jay and Lucille (Engelbart) Joslin. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and was stationed in Germany.  On October 1, 1955, he married Vonita Ann (Harms) at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church. Bob was manager and butter maker at the Amber Creamery and then worked at Wayne Hall Chrysler for over 30 years. He enjoyed going out to eat, loved being with his family and all his friends. He loved his dogs Annie, Mable and Angus.

Per his wishes, the family will be having a private gathering in his honor. In lieu of any services, the family requests a donation to an animal shelter in his name. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Vonita in 1998.

Survivors include his daughter, La Rae (Greg) Heyl of Amber; son, Gregory Joslin of Monticello; three grandchildren Tazia (Mandy) Gilbert Heyl, Gregory Heyl,Jr., Christopher Joslin and Kimberly Koopmann. He had three great grandchildren; Brantley, Paisley Jo and Lena Mae.
