Robert August Simoens, 80, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Living Center East, Cedar Rapids.
Robert is survived by his wife, Anna; children, Julie Suttles and Brenda Ferrie; brother, Melvin Simoens; sister, Rose Shaver; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Robert worked for International Trucks and West Side Transport until his retirement.
There will be no services.
