Joan O'Connor
So sad to learn that my favorite teacher has suddenly passed away. I don't remember much that far back, but I do remember her 4th grade class at Arthur Elementary - the fun (learning) games that sparked friendly competition, the L.F.E (Little Friendly Elephant), and lots of laughter. Always lots of laughter. She was such a kind person who I kept in touch with over email decades later. She was certainly one of the best. Sending prayers from Colorado to all of those who loved her, especially her grandchildren. I know how proud she was of each one of them.
Dear Family, My heart is heavy with the news of Aunt Joan's untimely passing. She was such a kind, caring, thoughtful person. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Our condolences to the O'Connor family! I remember that our mothers worked together and how much my mom enjoyed that. Joan was a wonderful lady who made a difference in so many lives. Joan was one of the finest women I've ever known and the quintessential teacher! May God hold Joan in the palm of His hand and all of you in His heart.
Mrs. O'Connor was my favorite 2nd grade teacher back in 1966-67. RIP Joan you were one of the best...too bad teachers like you are hard to find these days!
