Jeanette (Booth) Woods
Jeanette (Booth) Woods was born in Palo, August 2, 1921; to Isaiah and Elizabeth (Langguth) Booth. She was a resident of the Rock Ridge Care Center in Shellsburg where she and her husband resided after the flood of 2008 destroyed their home in Palo.
She is survived by a son Scott (Marilyn) Woods, of Oelwein, grandson Jeff (Shelley) Woods, of Cedar Rapids, and granddaughter Heidi (Louis) Carlson, of Portland, OR; and two great-grandchildren Jackson and Olivia Woods also of Cedar Rapids, as well as a number of nieces and nephews whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Odie R. Woods, her parents, and 3 brothers Edwin, Boyd, and Ivan Booth; and life-long friend Louise McClurg.
It was Jean’s wishes that there be no visitation or public funeral.
