Dean M. Rose, 86, of Marshalltown, formerly of Indianola, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown.
Private inurnment was held in Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary (Eric) Kellogg of Phoenix, AZ; son, David Rose of San Rafael, CA; grandchildren, Matthew and Kelsey Kellogg and Daniel Rose.
Dean M. Rose was born June 6, 1931 in Spencer, Iowa, the son of Doris Mae Rose. Dean was a teacher and coach for many years at Indianola High School and Simpson College.
