Michael Alan Gregoire
Michael Alan Gregoire, 58, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital Hospice Unit following a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Private family graveside service at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Paula of Marion, parents Ernie and Lois Gregoire of Marion, sister Dianne Raftis of West Des Moines, mother-in-law Nancy Stoppels of Marion, sisters and brothers-in law, and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 10, 1958. He married Paula Stoppels on July 17, 1993 at First United Presbyterian Church in Marion. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Marion. He graduated from Linn Mar High School and Mount Mercy College.
He wished to thank all the doctors and staff at Living Center West, The Ghosh Center, St. Luke’s Palitative Care and St Luke’s Hospice Unit.
Memorials in Mike’s name may be made to the Iowa Lions Eye Bank, or to the Ghosh Center Blesie Tree Fund for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
