Joyce Ann Kehe
On Sunday, September 25th, 2016, the Heavens welcomed an angel. Joyce Ann Kehe, loving and devoted mother and wife, passed away at the age of 77. Joyce, a resident of Waverly, IA, was born in Le Mars, IA on July 10th, 1939 to Burt and Charlotte Ballard. She met her husband, Butch and married February 16th, 1963, spending 53 years, building a family and life together.
Although it is difficult to think of a future without her, we will forever be filled with memories of her.
Joyce was an amazing person, full of love, kindness and incredible wit and intelligence. As friends have noted, she was small in stature but large in personality. She touched the lives of many, never hesitating to meet new friends or to make dear friends feel like a part of the family...a family for whom she had great passion and devoutly protected. She was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed.
She will always be with us...encouraging and protecting us...whether it is the touch of the sun on our faces, the gentle breeze through the trees, or the twinkle of a start in the night sky, she will never be far away.
Joyce is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, L. William (Butch) Kehe, her two daughters, Ann Fuller (husband, Pete) and Kirsten Kehe, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, six siblings, and many friends. All of whom she loved.
The memorial service will be held at the Waterloo Elks Lodge (407 Park Av, Waterloo, IA 50703), Friday September 30th, at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Elks 290 charity on her behalf.
