Giselle Bendig
Giselle M. Bendig lost her battle with cancer Sept. 3, 2016. She passed away at her daughters home where she chose to spend her last days.
Giselle was born Dec. 9, 1932 in LaReole, France to Roger Pierre Chagne and Marie Louise Delignac. She was raised in Bordeaux, France. Where she met an American soldier and married. Together they had 8 children and eventually ended up in the United States where she stayed and raised her children.
She is survived by7 of her children: Eveline Scott, Mark (Kim) Scott, Rick (Kristin) Scott, Gary (Lou) Scott, Pat (Darla) Scott, Dennis Scott, and Vicky (Ken Reynolds) Scott. Seventeen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, and her partner of three years Bill Miklus. She is also survived by her sister Andre Chagne of France and many others who loved her.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, and a son James Scott.
