Martha E. Watters
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the hope found in God's word the Bible. "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Jehovah (god's name) promises to destroy death, and the suffering it brings. He promises to bring those who have died back to life. May this ease the pain of your loss.
Our sympathy to Allan & Brian and your families on the passing of your mother. Martha and my mother Hellen were born the same year 1919 and were fast friends. Martha was my Cub scout den mother, and we enjoyed a Chinese meal with your parents shortly before they left Cedar Falls. I'll miss her annual Christmas missal, but trust Martha & Paul will be rejoicing in heaven with my parents. Recent eye surgery and "seeing" an eye specialist twice a week limits my travel, but you are in my thoughts & prayers. Robert Salge, Pastor Emeritus, at 201 Southridge Drive in Waverly, Iowa 50677.
Brian, Allan and family. So sorry for your loss, Your mother, grandmother had so much love for her family. Knowing Martha since about the age five, had many experiences with her and her daughter Barb. From sleep overs, trips, to bible camp, and so much more. She will truly missed by so many. Joyce
