Joseph Hronik
Joseph Hronik, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. Per his request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Joseph was born July 06, 1924, the son of Joseph and Gladys (Fatt) Hronik. He married the love of his life Gail Phillipson on June 23, 1943; they shared many memories together until her passing in 2008. He was the data processing manager at Kirkwood College until he retired.
Left to cherish Joseph’s memories are his children Richard (Naomi Gallmeyer) Hronik and Tom Hronik. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, his brother Richard, and his sister Louise.
