Bobbie Gene Dalbey Jr., 59 passed away May 20th 2016, In Fairfield, IA.

Bobbie was born in Cedar Rapids, IA August 23, 1956 to Bob Dalbey Sr. and Doris (Wilkinson) Dalbey.

Bobbie worked for several years with the Local 1260 Carpenters Union. He was an excellent carpenter working on residential homes as well as spending many years traveling the U.S working commercially for Cleveland Construction.  He loved woodworking.

February 14, 1991, he married his best friend Dawna Lynn Fox, together they raised their 3 children Savannah, Sierra, Josh, and daughter from a previous marriage Melony.  Bob adored his children and grandchildren.

Bob was proceeded in death by his Father Bob Dalbey Sr., grandparents Cordia and Margaret Wilkinson,  Grandmother Nona Stoffer, Grandmother Lillian Boots and two sister-in-laws Brenda Dalbey and Diane (Dee Dee) Dalbey.

Bob is survived by: Mother Doris (Ron) VanWyk of Oskaloosa; Wife Dawna Dalbey of Libertyville; Children: Savannah (Roth) Thommen of Fairfield IA, Sierra Dalbey of Libertyville IA, Joshua Dalbey of Libertyville IA, and Melony Morse of Keota, IA; Grandchildren: Paris, Jason, Emmett, Bella, Lily and Destiny; Sister Connie (Dale) Sanders of Beacon, IA; Brothers: David Dalbey of Des Moines, IA and Randy Dalbey of Phoenix, AZ, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

At Bobbie’s request he has been cremated and his “Last Rodeo” celebration will be June 18th 2016 at 4:30 pm at Jefferson County Park, 2003 Libertyville Rd, Fairfield, IA Shelter #3 (or cabins) more details to follow.
