Lorraine L. Sease, 86, of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Urbandale Health Care Center in Urbandale. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Lorraine Leone Sease was born on April 5, 1929 to Curtis and Elda Schulke Boorman in rural Iowa. She worked as a communications operator in the counties of Buena Vista and Carroll.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathi (<spouse>) Grinaldi of West Des Moines; grandchildren, Michael Blanshan of Santa Fe, NM and Kristi Blanshan of Denver, CO; great grandchildren, Reece and Eve Rotherham; and one brother, Robert “Bob” Boorman of Morrill, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Croxell Ricki; and siblings, Dawn Harvey and Charles Boorman.
