Forrest Eugene Robison
Forrest Eugene Robison, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home in the Meth-Wick Community, Cedar Rapids. There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
Forrest was born March 11, 1932, the son of Forrest David and Adelene (Trisler) Robison in Ellston, IA. He was married to Esther Pace on October 12, 1951. She passed away in 1977. Forrest was then married to Joyce Fairbanks Buol on April 29, 1978. He was a banker for thirty-six years, the last twenty-five years at Swisher Trust & Savings Bank. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, pool, and woodworking. Forrest was a member of Fawn Creek Country Club and a lifetime member of American Institute of Banking.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Robison; two daughters, Deborah Law and Pamela (Randy) Hibbitts; three step-children, Kevin (Linda) Buol, Kathleen (Scotty) Parmely, Kolleen Buol; grandchildren, Michael Faith, Timothy Law, Ben and Brandon Buol, Macaela, Jessie and Calan Parmely; great-grandchildren, Micah Faith, Cooper Buol, Harper Buol, Micah Parmely; brother, David (Sharon) Robison.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, his parents and his sisters, Dora May Thomson and Naomi Hosfield.
