Arnold Arthur Lowe
Christy, Troy & Jim and families, I am so very sorry to hear about Arnie's passing. He was a great man and a great friend to have. I will never ever forget his smiling face. May God be with you all in your time of need. May he bless you all. Hugs to all
To my classmate Jim and to entire family...I am sorry for your loss...My thoughts with all of you...would like to convey a happy thought....as high school students we would often do what we called "Doughnee runs" a practice of leaving the High School just minutes before 1st classes started...go to the bakery, and hurry back just as last bell was to ring.... another FUN fact that reminds me of Arnie..a group of us teens would sneak out of our homes at nite...play BB then at about 3am show up at the bakery for FRESH donuts.. He always had a smile even that early while working...
Dear Troy and Jim: I brought up the Mitchell County Press News today and saw your father's obituary. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I have not lived in Osage for 41 years and you may not even remember me but I sure do remember both of you. I was a lifeguard at the Osage pool when both of you were growing up and I lived on Chestnut Street. I taught Jim, he was just a little guy, private swimming lessons. I remember having great conversations with Troy. My dad (Eddie Viskocil-Chief of Police at that time) would go to your dad's bakery after midnight and bring home chocolate donuts for us to enjoy on Saturday morning. To this day, I have never found any chocolate donuts that compare to be as excellent as those donuts from your dad's bakery. May you find comfort and healing. God Bless, Jane
