Phyllis L. Ladeburg, 91, of Oelwein died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Oelwein Care Center. Inurnment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein.
Phyllis was born October 7, 1924 near Glenville, Minnesota, the daughter of Lynn R. Brown and Ardelle (Harrison) Brown. Graduated from Independence High School in 1942. She married Richard F. Ladeburg on June 27, 1943. He died on July 19, 2007. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and fishing.
Survivors include Richard L. (Jan) Ladeburg and Randal (Janet) Ladeburg both of Oelwein, Rex (Judi) Ladeburg of Quasqueton; 7 grandchildren, Richard, Jason, Ryan, Heidi, Shelli, Missy and Susan; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild and step-brother, Brian (Patty) Crouch of Hazelton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lynn Brown, Jr.; and step-mother, Grace Brown.
At Phyllis’ request, there will be no visitation.
