Virginia Squier of Vinton passed away January 21, 2016 at the Vinton Lutheran Home. According to Virginia’s wishes there will be no funeral service or visitation. Graveside service will be at a later date.
Virginia was born June 29, 1924 to Frank and Inez Cottrell near Brandon, Iowa. On June 27, 1951 she was united in marriage to Floyd Squier. He proceded her in death on June 10, 2010. In Addition to her husband she was proceded in death by her parents and sister Dortha Halva.
Virginia is survived by one sister, Rosemary (Les) Kampman of Vinton. One niece, Jacki (Jerry) Michael of Urbana; one nephew, Steve (Janis) Kampman of Rockwell, Texas; 5 great nieces and nephews and 3 great great nephews.
