I met Dr. Baty after I became friends with Jean, after I graduated high school. He was kind, funny and generous with his help. I was honored to visit the cabin, ride the houseboat and get a lovely reference letter for a job I wanted, (I got it!) I met him again at work, when he was visiting as another doctor's patient. I am glad I was able to see him and rekindle the friendship with Jean. Lots of history and many good memories. He will not be forgotten.

I was shocked to hear of Jack's passing. I had no idea he was gone. He meant the world to me, as a student, and was supportive and always there for me. He taught me so much...I remember him saying that when one raises the flag, sometimes it gets shot down. He was made of TOSI. Will miss you, Jack.
