Sorry to hear about our world losing such a wonderful man. In 1987 I met Don while broken into many pieces in the Havre Hospital in the middle of the night. Wearing his Iowa jacket he looked me over and then proceeded for the next 12 hours of surgery to put me back together again. I have all the respect in the world for him and was so lucky to have his gifts as a doctor to work on me. What a gifted man...I will forever to grateful to him! Larry Johnson

Linda and family, You have my sympathy! Don hopefully is enjoying all the things he loves in heaven! Don made me laugh often at the Hiawatha Care Center. I will miss the daily greeting from him. He always had a wave, nod or a "hello" for me as I walked past his room! May your memories of him help you all find peace in the days to come!

Linda and family, We are sorry to hear of Doc's passing...one of my favorite memories was when he was operating on me while playing music, loudly I might add, of Good Morning Vietnam! It made me giggle and forget what I was going through!! It was nice to know your family here.....and we missed you when you moved away. God Bless you all.

Dear Linda and family, So sorry to see where Dr. Luettjohann has passed away. I worked with him at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, Montana. He was also my father's orthopedic surgeon, and taught dad some hip exercises, which dad did faithfully for the rest of his life. My deepest sympathies to all of you. Dona Woods, retired LPN Havre, Montana.
