Ruby Irene Goodall
Ruby Irene Goodall, 95, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Manor Care. Per her request cremation rights have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday January 5, 2017 at Kingston Hill located at 202 12th St NW Cedar Rapids by Pastor Stasia Fine of New Disciples of Cedar Rapids.
Ruby was born on March 15, 1921; the daughter of George and Esther (Coay) Hawley.
She married Richard Arthur Goodall on February 13, 1943 in Cedar Rapids.
Ruby retired from Rockwell Collins after 30 years where she worked as a machine operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, a daughter, Kathryn E. Franks, a son, Thomas A. Goodall, nine brothers and sisters and a great grand-daughter, Kylie Hall.
Left to cherish Ruby's memories are sons Richard Allen Goodall of Fairfax, Phillip (Jean) Goodall and Lonnie (Charlotte) Goodall both of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Lori (Will) Zimpfer of Grants Pass, OR and two sisters; Betty (Doug) Clifton of Urbandale and Mary LaBarge of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
