Arthur Heusinkveld
So very glad and fortunate to have known Artie.....what an amazing soul.
So sorry for your loss of Arthur who was truly unique and will forever have a special place in your hearts.
Art was like a universal father and friend. I'll always remember his legendary record collection, and how much he enjoyed sharing his music. Also, I'll always remember his amazing architectural and work-working skills, as well as his inspiring love for his family. Shine on, Art!
For Joan -- who captured for all time her sons, Artie and David, in her splendid photographs. We are thinking of you and send heartfelt condolence.
Artie and I shared some good times in the early-mid 70s. He kept some woodworking tools and equipment in my shed/workshop just outside Cedar Rapids, and did projects there. It was always good to see Artie show up. I had one of Artie's stained -glass lamps for many years. I also remember he and his brother banging our some very seriois duos on piano and guitar. I think that Artie was on piano. I am proud to have known Artie. David Reeder
