Connie Sue Lange, 63, of Mt. Vernon, IA, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 7, 2016 from 1-4pm at Gwen’s Restaurant in Lisbon, IA.
Connie was born on April 16, 1953 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Edward and Edna (Bradd) Forest. On October 12, 1968 she was united in marriage to Billy Gene Lange. She worked at Oral-B/Procter-Gamble for 42 years, she retired in April 2015. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren in the outdoors at the family cabin.
Connie is survived by her husband, Bill of Mt. Vernon; 3 sons: Pat Lange of Mt. Vernon, Jason (Sara) of Humboldt, Kasey (Sara) of Mt. Vernon; 5 grandchildren Jacob, Stefani, Wylie, Mallie, and Teagan; siblings: Bonnie (Kenny) Schoff of Mt. Vernon, Ronnie (Janice) Forest of Mt. Vernon, Linda (Fred) Hunter of Hopkinton, IA, Kaylene Forest of Cedar Rapids, and Al (Deb) Forest of Cedar Rapids; sisters-in-law Beverly (John) Chunka of Omaha, NE and Brenda (Fred) Potter of Canton, IA; mother-in-law Wiona Lange of Canton, IA and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, father-in-law, and sister-in-law.
