Kathryn Jeanne Yoder, 84, of Camanche, IA passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Per her wishes, Jeanne was cremated. Visiting with the family will begin at 4:00 PM, with a memorial celebration following at 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 4 at the Clinton Evangelical Free Church, 1010 13th Ave. N, Clinton, IA.
Jeanne Yoder was born April 24, 1931 in Oxford, IA, the daughter of Frank and Norma Crow. She married Ted Yoder on June 22, 1957 in Sharon Center, IA.
Jeanne graduated from Cosgrove High School in 1949. She earned her teacher’s certificate from the Iowa State Teacher’s College, a.k.a. UNI. She taught elementary in Durant, West Branch and Camanche. She was also school librarian in the Camanche Elementary School.
Survivors include Daryl (Wendy) Yoder, Jeff (Nancy) Yoder, Kay (Ray) Baker, Keith (Sarah) Yoder; and Karen (Gary) Koller; plus ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be directed to the Camanche Fire Department in Jeanne’s name.
