Hans-Georg W. Boyken, 75, of Titonka, died on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Hans-Georg Walter Boyken was born on April 11, 1940 to Walther and Hertha Scheppe Boyken in Oldenburg, Germany. He moved to Bancroft, Iowa, after his retirement as a government officer in Hohenkirchen, Germany. Hans-Georg was united in marriage to Ruth Boyken on June 22, 1988. He enjoyed collecting shells and rocks from all the different places he traveled, including Africa, Greece and Spain. Hans-Georg was interested in genealogy.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; step children, Tony Wilhelmi of Bancroft and Angela (Patty Snyder) Jenkinson of Auburn, CA; and grandchildren, Chandler, Tucker, Braeden, and McKenna Wilhelmi.
Hans-Georg was preceded in death by his parents.
