Mary Ann Cross, 76, of Cedar Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo under care of Cedar Valley Hospice. According to her wishes, her body has been cremated; no services are planned.
Mary Ann was born on January 26, 1939 in Belleville, Illinois the daughter of George and Dorothea (Bayless) Kelling. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois, the class of 1960. Upon graduation, Mary Ann was awarded membership in the Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 55 years, John S. Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Kenneth Langer, and brother Kent Kelling.
Memorials can be made to Cedar Valley Hospice, the North East Iowa Food Bank, or to the Salvation Army.
