Roberta Mae Denneson, 50, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with Jesus on May 25, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Cornerstone Church, 925 Blairs Ferry Rd, Marion, IA 52302. Officiating: Rev. Matt Proctor.
Survivors include her guardian, Jolene Kirkpatrick; good friend, Mary Hand; and all her friends and family at Options and Discovery Living.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Roberta was born December 21, 1964, the daughter of Robert and Beulah (Smith) Denneson in Knoxville, IA. She enjoyed attending Camp Courageous in the summer and looking at her books. One of her favorite songs to sing was, “Jesus Loves Me.”
Memorial donations may be directed to Discovery Living or Cornerstone Church in memory of Roberta.
