David E. Anderson, 62, of Alburnett died Saturday May 2, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 3 to 7 PM on Thursday at the American Legion Hall in Central City.
Survivors include three sons Chris (Jennifer) of Alburnett, Denny of Cedar Rapids, Eric (Monica) from California and a daughter Toni (Robert) Fadden of Denver, Colorado; a sister Penny Anderson of Cedar Rapids and a brother Butch (Diane) of Central City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild and his best friend Max. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Steve.
Dave was born on October 13, 1952 in Cedar Rapids the son of Earl and Edith Harger Anderson. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years.
Dave enjoyed gardening, wood working, fishing and the time spent with his family, especially his grand kids and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial has been established.
