Phyllis L. Wylie, 78, of Davenport passed away Tuesday March 24,2015 at St. Mary's Nursing Home in Davenport. Memorial services to be held on Thursday April 2nd at 200 pm at her longtime residence of 1212 Perry St. in Davenport. A celebration of life to follow from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Phyllis Lee Wylie, was born September 3, 1936 to Boyd and Mary Vizard Cloudas in Rock Island Illinois. She was a foster parent to over 80 children. When her time with foster care came to an end, she continued her giving by owning and operating a Residential Care Facility. She took care of many elderly and Alzheimer’s patients. She was a member of the Parrish of Sacred Heart of Davenport, and was active in her community.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Wylie of Davenport; granddaughter, Genevieve Wilkerson Migala; grandson, Jason Migala; great grandson Jackson Migala all of Sauk Rapids, Minn.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Wylie; daughter, Natalie Wilkerson; son-in-law, Kevin Wilkerson
