Gene G. Shadden
Gene G. Shadden, 77, passed away July 7, 2015, at Golden Age Care Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. Gene was born to Glenn and Violet (Wells) Shadden on May 10, 1938. Gene worked as a computer programmer for many years. His hobbies included playing on the computer, leather work, and reading. He was a born again believer and a member of Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survived by Gene is his wife of 57 years Mina (Harter) Shadden, son Carl (Brenda) Shadden of Marshalltown, IA, daughter April Shadden of Clear Lake, IA, son Mark (Isa) Shadden of Naples, FL, son Daniel Shadden of Grinnell, IA, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Julia King.
Memorial service is scheduled for 11am on Saturday, July 25th, at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville, IA.
