Carl Martin Larson, 82, of Waterloo, Iowa passed away Tuesday January 27, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services in Waterloo. As were his wishes he will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
Carl is survived by his wife Mary Lou Larson of Waterloo, IA; children: Bob Larson of Spokane, WA, Larry (Karlyn) Larson of Iowa City, IA, Dennis (Kerri) Larson of Jesup, IA, and Barb (Bob) Spiller of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandchildren: Chelsey Larson, Brady Larson, Trevor Larson, and Nikki Ebright.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Carl Martin Larson was born February 2, 1932 to Axel and Hulda (Lungren) Larson in Clinton, Wisconsin. Carl served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Mary Lou Beran in Waterloo, IA in March 1959. He worked for many years with John Deere before retiring. Carl enjoyed gardening and bowling in his spare time. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
