Scott David Corbett
SCOTT DAVID CORBETT, Cedar Rapids, lost a courageous battle for life on February 3, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a brief illness. He was 62.
Scott was born on May 23, 1952 to David Harland Corbett and Joyce (Joy) Eilleen (Kleppe) Corbett, both deceased. He is survived by a sister Julia (Charles) Griffin of Des Moines, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Scott was employed by Professional Ag Services in Walford, Iowa, a 1970 graduate of Prairie High School and attended one year of higher education at Kirkwood Community College. He enjoyed many diverse talents including oil painting and chalk drawing, cooking, and especially rebuilding and restoring classic muscle cars. His humble charm, down-home common sense, wicked sense of humor and steadfast strength will be sorely missed!
A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday February 10th at 11:30am at the Walford Community Center, 120 5th St N, Walford, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
