Edward Cecak
Edward Cecak, 77, of Newhall, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. According to his wishes, his body has been cremated.
Edward was born on June 15, 1938 to Joseph and Emma Cecak. Graduating from Toledo High School in the class of 1956. After graduation he worked as farm hand until 1969. He was then employed by Link-Belt Speeder until 1984, in 1986 he worked at Country Floors and interiors until his retirement. Edward was an active outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He loved spending time with family and friends playing cards.
Left to cherish Edward’s memory are his children Kevin (Tammy) Cecak, Terri (Wally) Baker, Janice (Don) King, Denise Cecak, Steve (Brenda) Cecak, Jeff (Deb) Cecak, sisters Joyce Cecak, Midge Nekola, Diane Porkorny, and brother Dale Cecak, 16 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Marvin Cecak, and sister Marcella Kriz.
A special thanks to Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Dr. Samuel Wood, Mercy Hospice and all those who were there to support the Cecak family.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Edward’s name.
